In the center of town in Thompson Springs, UT

Mayday? May Day? Mayday?

Mayday said three times is an international call for help. May Day is traditionally a day of celebration. It falls about halfway between the spring equinox and the summer solstice.  Often a small basket with a few flowers, trinkets, or treats, are sneakily hung on the front door handle of your friends or neighbors home. Communities celebrate this holiday by weaving colorful ribbons around a Maypole as they dance to music, and compete in friendly competitions.

May Day! May Day! May Day!
